Speaking on the milestone, Akeem Ogunkoya said the company remains focused on reducing barriers for aspiring telecom operators entering the market.
“As the pioneer MVNE in the Nigerian telecom market, our mission is to lower the barrier to entry for aspiring telecom operators. Our partnership with Airtel Nigeria provides a solid foundation for MVNOs to thrive by leveraging world-class infrastructure and scalable technology. We are proud to have onboarded five MVNOs already and are encouraged by the strong pipeline of operators preparing to enter the market,” he stated.
Ogunkoya also commended the Nigerian Communications Commission for creating a forward-looking regulatory environment that supports MVNO growth, innovation, and fair competition across the industry.
According to the company, IMBIL Telecom’s MVNE platform offers end-to-end solutions including core network services, provisioning, billing systems, regulatory compliance support, and a range of value-added services.
The integrated infrastructure allows MVNOs to focus on customer acquisition, brand growth, and service innovation while relying on a scalable backend system for operations.
As demand for affordable, flexible, and customer-focused telecom services continues to rise, IMBIL Telecom said it remains committed to supporting startups, entrepreneurs, and established businesses seeking to enter or expand within Nigeria’s telecom market.
The company added that through flexible commercial models, advanced technology, and operational support, it aims to promote digital inclusion and wider access to telecom services across the country.
The collaboration with Airtel Nigeria is also expected to deepen market penetration, strengthen digital inclusion, and drive the next phase of telecom innovation nationwide.
