Amazon India has unveiled Amazon Air, making it the first e-commerce company in the country to have a dedicated air cargo network. This would also be the first launch of the Amazon Air cargo service outside of the US and Europe. Amazon Air’s cargo network will utilise the cargo capacity of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft operated by Quikjet Cargo Airlines. Each Amazon Air aircraft will ship thousands of packages every day and fly across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. Blockchain services provider Binance has announced officially that it has launched its operation in Bahrain. The new platform enables users to access Binance’s existing range of regulated products and services; including direct top-ups and withdrawals in local currencies.The binance.bh platform received its license as a Crypto Asset Service Provider on 19 May 2022. As a result, the platform can now provide a wide range of crypto-asset exchange services to customers. META announced cutting ties with a subcontractor that provided moderators for its African markets, this was in a week after the tech giant is due to appear in a Kenyan court to face allegations of human trafficking and union busting. dSPACE Group has appointed Carsten Hoff as the new CEO of the company, effective from 17 April 2023. He succeeds Martin Goetzeler, who is resigning from his post at his own request. Hoff comes from a research and development-centred environment with a degree in electrical engineering and a doctorate in computer science. Highland Europe, a growth-stage technology fund that invests in European internet, mobile, and software companies. has launched a €1bn (£879m) fund to invest in grow-stage software and consumer internet businesses across Europe.It is Highland Europe’s fifth fund, bringing its total capital raised to €2.75bn (£2.42bn). Google has introduced video conferencing device interoperability for Meet with Zoom. This means users will be able to join Zoom meetings from Google Meet hardware devices and Google Meet meetings from Zoom Rooms. Recall, the company made this announcement last year October of the new built-in interoperability features. The advanced features include as listed; polls, wired present, and dual-screen support may not be available when using Meet hardware to join Zoom Meetings and vice versa, the company disclosed.
