Admiral Mobility, a leading provider of accessible eMobility solutions, has joined forces with vehicle hire company Avis to launch a significant collaboration that aims to introduce electric commercial trucks to the leasing market in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This strategic partnership marks a milestone in the region as it will facilitate the largest rollout of electric commercial trucks in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The trucks will be available for lease to fleets across the UAE, enabling companies to transition to cleaner and more sustainable transportation options in line with their environmental goals.

The electric commercial trucks, ranging from 6 tons to 8 tons, were unveiled at the Mobility Live event in Abu Dhabi, which gathered global leaders in the green transport and electric vehicle (EV) sectors. With a range of up to 220 kilometers on a full load, these zero-emission vehicles boast a rapid charging capability of less than 90 minutes using an efficient and safe liquid-cooled CATL LFP battery.
The trucks come equipped with advanced safety features such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, remote locking systems and high beam LED lights with auto adaption to the surrounding traffic. Additionally, they offer a comfortable driving experience.
