Huawei Technologies is expanding its presence in the auto industry by partnering with more legacy automakers to produce Aito-branded electric cars, according to the company’s senior executive, Richard Yu. WhatsApp is introducing a new feature that will allow users to lock specific chats on the app using their fingerprint or passcode. Accenture has announced the establishment of a cross-company centre of excellence (CoE) for generative AI and large language model (LLM), which will involve 1,600 employees from within the company. Italy’s data protection authority, the Garante, has ordered OpenAI to cease processing individuals’ data locally with immediate effect, citing concerns that the company is breaching the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
