Krish-e, the agri-tech division of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, has launched the Krish-e Smart Kit, which enables farmers and rental business owners to remotely monitor their tractors and other agricultural machinery. The device uses GPS-enabled time tracking and connects to a smartphone, providing data on various parameters. The kit was developed by agritech firm Carnot Technologies, which is supported by Mahindra. Google Cloud has accused Microsoft of anti-competitive practices in cloud computing and criticised several imminent deals with European cloud vendors for not addressing broader concerns about licensing terms. Twitter has announced three levels of access to its application programming interface (APIs) after announcing that the platform would no longer support free access to its APIs. The three tiers are free, basic and enterprise. The free tier will allow users to post 1,500 tweets a month at no cost. Honeywell has completed phase one of the Bangalore Safe City Project by installing over 7,000 video cameras powered by artificial intelligence (AI) systems across 3,000 locations in Bengaluru. Google Cloud has partnered with Replit, a San Francisco-based start-up and online integrated development environment (IDE), to integrate its AI-based code suggestion tool into Google’s cloud platform. SAP Labs India, a subsidiary of German software company SAP, has signed an MoU with the Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) in Bangalore, a private engineering college, to work together on technology research and innovation projects.
