Google’s Nearby Share feature now available on Windows PCs in beta version for seamless file sharing
Google has extended its Nearby Share feature to Windows PCs in beta, following its availability on Android phones and Chromebooks. The feature is comparable to Apple’s Airdrop and allows for quick and easy file sharing between Android devices and Windows PCs. The app can be downloaded from the Google Android website and is compatible with Windows 10 and up, with the 64-bit version of the operating system required. Swiggy’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Dale Vaz has resigned from his position and will be replaced by Madhusudhan Rao, the Senior Vice President of Consumer Tech and Fintech (engineering and product) at the company. Vaz had been with Swiggy for almost five years and was previously with Amazon for 11 years before joining the food and grocery delivery platform. WiJungle, a cybersecurity startup based in Gurugram, India, is planning to hire over 120 people in the next six months. Paris has dealt a significant blow to shared micromobility companies Lime, Dott and Tier by voting to ban rental e-scooters from the city’s streets. The move is feared to have a ripple effect in other cities.
