MTN MoMo Zambia has partnered with FNB Zambia to introduce an ATM Cash Out service, allowing MoMo customers to withdraw money directly from their mobile wallets at FNB ATMs without needing a bank card or an FNB bank account.
The new service builds on the existing partnership between the two companies, which already allows customers to transfer funds between MTN MoMo wallets and FNB bank accounts, as well as make MoMo payments through FNB point-of-sale terminals.
The companies said the ATM service is designed to strengthen the connection between mobile money and traditional banking while giving customers greater flexibility in accessing and using their funds.

The partnership also contributes to efforts to expand access to digital financial services and promote financial inclusion across Zambia.
Pafyako Malema Museba, Head of Strategy and Business Development at MTN MoMo Zambia, said the new ATM option provides customers with an additional secure and convenient way to access their MoMo funds while supporting wider financial inclusion.
Victor Silavwe, Senior Manager for Alternate Channels at FNB Zambia, said the service was designed around customers’ everyday financial needs, including accessing cash for business activities, supporting family members and meeting other expenses.
With the launch of ATM Cash Out, customers can now use the partnership for wallet-to-bank transfers, MoMo payments at FNB point-of-sale terminals and cash withdrawals from FNB ATMs.
The two companies said they will continue developing interoperable financial solutions aimed at making digital financial services more accessible to customers across Zambia.
