Juniper Networks has introduced a new initiative called Juniper Beyond Labs, aimed at driving innovation and shaping the future of the networking and IT industries. The initiative will focus on conducting pioneering research, pathfinding projects and experimental technology developments. Juniper Beyond Labs will collaborate with academic and industry partners, leveraging innovation centers in Sunnyvale, Bengaluru and Westford to pioneer sustainable networking technologies for the digital world’s future needs.

With the increasing integration of AI, machine learning and cloud services, nearly every aspect of the global economy relies on networks. However, this brings complexities, security vulnerabilities and environmental challenges that require new approaches to deploying and managing network technology. Juniper Beyond Labs aims to incubate big ideas and innovative solutions to address these challenges and improve the experience for network users and operators.
Customers and partners, including Eurofiber and Intel, as well as academic institutions like Purdue University, will have the opportunity to influence research directions and participate in pathfinding projects through Juniper Beyond Labs.
