Network International has announced that Abdulla Nasser Lootah has been appointed Chief Public Sector Officer & Advisor to the Group CEO at Network International.
In this newly created role, Abdulla Nasser Lootah will lead the company’s Public Sector P&L, drive growth in the UAE, while also supporting public and non-public sector growth initiatives across the wider Group, and position Network International as a trusted partner in the region’s digital payments and transformation agenda.
Working closely alongside the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team, Abdulla will focus on strengthening strategic relationships, deepening the company’s proposition for government and strategic accounts, and positioning Network International as a trusted partner in the region’s digital payments and transformation landscape.
Abdulla brings with him a wealth of experience spanning public sector leadership, government transformation, national strategy, and technology and digital services. Before joining Network International, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Experience Exchange, where he oversaw a global government knowledge-sharing platform dedicated to exchanging best practices in strategy, performance, excellence and public service leadership.

Earlier in his career, he held several senior government positions, including Director General of the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, Director General of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, and Secretary General of the Emirates Competitiveness Council. Through these roles, he played a key part in shaping national strategy, government performance, competitiveness, and the country’s digital services and data capabilities.
Abdulla also brings private-sector experience from his time at Microsoft, where he held senior leadership positions, including Director, Government Sector, and Country Manager.
His combined background across government, technology and transformation is expected to support Network International’s ambitions to deepen its public sector partnerships and strengthen its government acquiring and digital payments offering across the region.
