Scalo Technologies, a tech venture company, has moved its headquarters to Dubai to identify and guide startups with the potential to enter global markets. Scalo has plans to invest $100 million in promising startups over the next three to five years, with a focus on the tech and gaming sectors. The company chose Dubai for its high level of business activity, growing economy and government initiatives to attract entrepreneurs and professionals from around the world.
Scalo Technologies, which was set up in Singapore in 2020, intends to help founders of startups with the potential to scale up their business to enter global markets, regardless of their potential customers’ language or location. Cloud-based AI products and gaming companies are among Scalo’s main interests and it is always searching for breakthrough ideas that can grow worldwide.

Scalo aims to make access to best-in-class software and HPC facilities more affordable through the cloud and to help launch breakthrough technologies for the masses. Scalo has already invested in Megarender.com, the online cloud render farm and Voctiv, a deep tech company that helps businesses build fully autonomous, AI-powered contact centres.
