Oracle has signed an agreement with e&, a leading technology and investment group, to expand its cloud footprint to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Dedicated Region. As part of a multi-year cloud transformation programme, e& plans to modernize, manage and automate its critical OSS and BSS applications using OCI Dedicated Region, which will enable the use of Oracle’s public cloud services, benefits and applications in e&’s data center. e& also plans to migrate its global HR functions to Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), which will simplify HR processes, improve employee experience and provide enhanced workforce insights.

OCI Dedicated Region will provide e& with a dedicated cloud platform, while allowing the company to retain full control of its data and applications. This will help the company address regulatory, security and data residency requirements in the United Arab Emirates while lowering operational costs. With the OCI Dedicated Region, e& will have access to Oracle’s 100 plus cloud services on-premise to accelerate innovation across artificial intelligence and to support its existing services.
