Saudi Arabia’s Al Moammar Information Systems Company (MIS) has secured a project contract worth SAR 96.36m from the Public Investment Fund (PIF). The contract requires MIS to supply and integrate audio, visual, digital signage and smart services solutions for PIF. Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Mastercard have signed a collaboration agreement that seeks to drive digital transformation in the financial technology (fintech) sector. Under the partnership, fintech startups and established companies will be granted access to Mastercard’s network and expertise, along with DIFC’s financial ecosystem. The collaboration aims to develop new payment solutions and digital services, as well as improving existing ones. Google is reportedly planning to use generative artificial intelligence (AI) in its advertising operations, according to an internal presentation cited by the Financial Times. The technology will allow the company to produce more advanced campaigns using materials created by human marketers. AMS-IX and MDXi, an Equinix Company, have jointly launched a new Internet Exchange, AMS-IX Lagos, in Nigeria. The exchange is located in the carrier-neutral data center of MDXi, which will be AMS-IX’s commercial partner for AMS-IX Lagos. Meanwhile, AMS-IX will take care of the technical and operational management of the exchange.
