Benya Group, a digital solutions provider, has signed an MoU with Khazna Data Centers, a UAE-based wholesale data center provider, to construct a 25 MW hyperscale data center in Maadi Technology Park. The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) announced on May 5th that the project would cost $250 million, covering the business of large-scale data centers in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. QistBazaar, a Pakistan-based fintech that provides Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services, has partnered with Bank Alfalah, one of the country’s largest commercial banks. The deal is worth PKR 500 million ($1.7m) and includes Bank Alfalah taking a 7.2% stake in QistBazaar, as well as becoming its embedded lending partner.
