Vertiv (NYSE: VRT) has announced the acquisition of BMarko Structures LLC, a move aimed at strengthening its capabilities in delivering scalable infrastructure solutions amid the rapid growth of AI-driven data centers.
The U.S.-based BMarko, known for its custom-engineered structural fabrication expertise, will now be integrated into Vertiv’s Infrastructure Solutions business in North America. The company said the acquisition is expected to enhance supply chain capabilities, expand engineering and manufacturing capacity, and improve delivery speed and customization across its portfolio of prefabricated and converged infrastructure solutions.
Vertiv noted that the increasing pace of AI data center deployments is placing significant pressure on infrastructure providers to deliver faster, more flexible, and highly scalable solutions. By bringing BMarko’s capabilities in-house, the company aims to strengthen execution, improve material and process control, and better support evolving customer requirements.

BMarko has previously collaborated with Vertiv on long-term projects, demonstrating strong engineering depth and the ability to deliver highly customized infrastructure builds. The integration is expected to deepen operational alignment and reinforce Vertiv’s ability to execute complex infrastructure projects with greater precision and efficiency.
Commenting on the acquisition, Gio Albertazzi said the deal aligns with shifting industry demands driven by artificial intelligence. “AI is reshaping infrastructure requirements, with customers placing greater demands on time-to-capacity, flexibility, and efficiency across the infrastructure layer,” he stated.
He added, “This acquisition strengthens Vertiv’s ability to help customers move faster, with better systems-level performance and control, as infrastructure demands continue to grow in complexity.”
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Williamston, South Carolina, BMarko specializes in high-quality structural builds, including steel and wood frame systems tailored to AI factories and data center environments. The company recently expanded its engineering and fabrication facility to approximately 560,000 square feet, strategically located near Vertiv’s regional manufacturing operations.
The acquisition underscores Vertiv’s commitment to scaling its infrastructure solutions to meet the growing demands of AI and next-generation digital ecosystems, while reinforcing its position in the rapidly evolving data center market.
