Airtel Uganda has expanded its 4G network to Kassanda district, delivering faster and more reliable connectivity to residents and businesses as part of its nationwide coverage campaign.
The new network sites are already transforming call quality and data experiences, empowering local communities with better access to digital services.
During a recent visit to Kassanda, Airtel Uganda’s Managing Director, Soumendra Sahu, engaged with customers, agents, and community members to assess the impact of the upgraded infrastructure. The expansion is driving economic participation, improving access to knowledge, and fostering affordable connectivity for local businesses and families.

“Our mission is to provide a brilliant network experience to every Ugandan, without distinction,” Sahu said. “We’re not just building towers—we’re enabling connections that drive progress and inclusion.”

In Bukuya, Sahu showcased the Data Saver function on smartphones, educating customers on managing data usage efficiently. This initiative reflects Airtel Uganda’s focus on affordability and digital literacy alongside infrastructure growth.
The Kassanda rollout is part of Airtel’s broader effort to engage communities across Uganda, ensuring fast, inclusive, and affordable connectivity nationwide. With each new site, Airtel empowers individuals and enterprises with the tools to thrive in a digital-first world, reinforcing its commitment to bridging Uganda’s digital divide.
