Veeam Software has been ranked as the top global provider in data replication and protection software by International Data Corporation (IDC) in its latest IDC Semiannual Software Tracker, 2022H2. According to the report, Veeam’s year-over-year growth rate of 8.1% exceeded that of the other top five vendors and the overall market average. The tracker also revealed that Veeam’s revenue grew 8.4% sequentially in the first half of 2022.

Veeam’s CEO, Anand Eswaran, acknowledged the importance of modern data protection and ransomware recovery in today’s landscape. He highlighted the need for businesses to recover rapidly and safely from ransomware and other cyber threats across the customer’s complete hybrid cloud environment. Eswaran also thanked the company’s 450,000 customers and 35,000 partners for their support and trust.
Veeam recently launched the New Veeam Data Platform, a single platform that offers more advanced data security, recovery and hybrid cloud capabilities across the entire IT environment, including multi-cloud, virtual, hybrid, physical, SaaS (M365, Salesforce) and Kubernetes.
