Oman Investment & Finance Company ‘Khedmah’ has signed an agreement with Dhofar Insurance Company to enable and collect utility bill insurance premiums. The agreement will allow Khedmah app users to choose the type and amount of insurance they prefer and access the newly launched bill insurance service, which is optional and designed to enhance the overall customer experience and ensure flexibility and ease of access.
Users can access the service through the Khedmah app, select their preferred insurance type and pay the installments through the app. Once registered, users will receive a text message confirming the successful collection of their payment, followed by a call from Dhofar Insurance to verify their information. The insurance amount can then be collected from Dhofar Insurance once the terms and conditions are met, which can all be accessed through the app or by contacting the Khedmah call center.

This step is one of many in the long-standing relationship between Khedmah and Dhofar Insurance Company, who have previously signed for auto insurance collection services through the app. The Khedmah app offers a wide range of services beyond collecting utility bills, including recharging phone and electricity balances, collecting vehicle insurance amounts and subscribing to the General Authority for Social Insurance.
