Microsoft-owned GitHub has launched a chat and voice feature for its coding app Copilot, which uses OpenAI’s language-generation tools to provide assistance to software developers. The new version, Copilot X, allows developers to ask how to accomplish certain coding tasks and receive explanations, testing ideas and bug fixes in a chat window. The update also includes OpenAI’s latest language model, GPT 4, for increased accuracy rates.
