Airtel Kenya has revealed a positive development that will benefit its customer base, as it moves forward with plans to lower excise duty rates on its telecommunication services. The company issued a statement on Tuesday, sharing its intention to revise the rates, which will take effect from August 1, 2023. Kenya’s interior ministry has said to the public that it had suspended the local activities of cryptocurrency project Worldcoin while government agencies assess potential risks to public safety.
