Zain KSA, a prominent digital service provider, has partnered with Cisco to collaborate on the
development of network automation and service orchestration to enhance network service
outcomes. The MoU, which was signed during Zain KSA’s participation at the Mobile World
Congress (MWC23) in Barcelona from February 27 to March 3, aims to simplify day-to-day
network operations, maintain, monitor and optimize the system with advanced automation
tools.
The partnership seeks to accelerate the digital transformation of the kingdom, improve
network services and enable the community to enjoy a smarter mobile lifestyle using
advanced technologies, with Zain KSA as the preferred digital partner for its customers,
including individuals and the business sector.

According to Eng Abdulrahman Al-Mufadda, CTO of Zain KSA, the increasing usage of 5G
technologies, networked devices and content services has put enormous pressure on
networks. This partnership with Cisco is an important step in keeping pace with these
developments and accelerating the digital transformation journey. He added that the MoU is
in line with the company’s strategy to innovate, provide integrated digital experiences to its
customers and improve their experiences across the kingdom, which will help achieve Saudi
Vision 2030’s goals.

Zain KSA in simplifying operations and providing services more quickly across the entire
