Eco-friendly energy solutions provider, EcoFlow, has unveiled the RIVER 2 Pro and DELTA 2 Max power stations in South Africa, promising upgraded capacity and faster charging to cater for the country’s rising energy needs amid stage 6 loadshedding.
B2C Sales Director at EcoFlow South Africa, Bradley Chetty, highlighted the significance of these releases in addressing the growing challenges posed by loadshedding. He remarked, “as loadshedding continues to grow, the EcoFlow RIVER 2 Pro and DELTA 2 Max ensure our consumers have access to a simple, flexible, and reliable energy source wherever and whenever they should need it.”
The RIVER 2 Pro boasts a 768Wh capacity and accelerated charging capabilities thanks to EcoFlow’s X-Stream technology. With an industry-leading recharge time of just 70 minutes via AC charging, the RIVER 2 Pro is 70% faster than its counterparts. Equipped with a maximum AC output of 800W and X-Boost technology, it can easily power heavy-duty appliances, ensuring continuous functionality for essential household devices.
Moreover, the RIVER 2 Pro serves as an emergency power supply (EPS), swiftly transitioning to battery-powered mode within 30ms during sudden blackouts. Its advanced LiFePO4 batteries offer exceptional durability, with a lifespan of 3,000 cycles and a 5-year warranty.
Alternatively, the DELTA 2 Max stands as a reliable solution for whole-home comfort. It features a UPS transfer time of 20ms and a base capacity of 2,048Wh, expandable up to 6,144Wh with additional batteries. Equipped with X-Stream technology, the DELTA 2 Max achieves rapid charging speeds, enabling AC charging from 0 to 100% in just 81 minutes or solar charging in 2.3 hours.
“The DELTA 2 Max acts as an invisible lifeline during unexpected power cuts, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to essential home appliances,” Chetty explained, highlighting its reliability in critical situations.
Both the RIVER 2 Pro and DELTA 2 Max will be available for purchase starting Monday, 15th April, on EcoFlow South Africa. The RIVER 2 Pro is priced at R 11,999, while the DELTA 2 Max is priced at R 25,999.
