Nexign, a prominent provider of BSS and digitalization solutions based in St. Petersburg, Russia, is participating in GITEX Africa 2023, the largest IT exhibition in the pan-African region. The event, held in Bab Jdid, Marrakech, Morocco, from May 31st to June 2nd, brings together leading tech companies, governments, start-ups, investors and educators to explore emerging technologies and accelerate technological development across various sectors.
At the exhibition, Nexign is presenting its latest product suite designed for the monetization and efficient management of 5G SA (Standalone) networks. The suite includes the Nexign 5G Charging System (CCS), Nexign 5G Policy Control Function (PCF), Nexign Service Communication Proxy (SCP) and Nexign Network Repository Function (NRF). These solutions enable communication service providers (CSPs) to support charging, policy management and signaling traffic routing for 5G SA networks. All products are developed in compliance with international standards and recommendations from 3GPP, ETSI and TM Forum.
The rapid adoption of 5G technologies worldwide has led to an expected doubling of 5G connections to two billion by the end of 2025, as reported by GSMA Intelligence. To efficiently utilize 5G networks, CSPs must optimize infrastructure management costs and seamlessly provide services across different network generations. Additionally, they need to find innovative ways to monetize complex business scenarios related to digital partner ecosystems, IoT, Industry 4.0 and B2B services.
