The platform aims to enable users to automate business workflows, internal processes and IT operations while ensuring robust security measures against potential threats. IBM emphasizes that Watsonx empowers enterprises to go beyond being mere AI users and become AI advantaged organizations. It allows clients to efficiently train and deploy customized AI capabilities across their entire business while maintaining full control over their data.
Arvind Krishna, IBM Chairman and CEO, highlighted the significance of foundation models in the realm of AI for business, stating that they enhance scalability, affordability and efficiency. He emphasized that IBM watsonx was specifically built to meet the needs of enterprises and help them leverage AI to their advantage.
