The Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) and the Sharjah Oasis for Technology and Innovation (SOTI) are joining forces in a merger aimed at enhancing the United Arab Emirates’ knowledge economy and its reputation as a thriving hub for entrepreneurship. Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, the Chairperson and President of SRTIP, believes that this move will bring significant benefits to the country.
As part of the merger, SRTIP will incorporate SOTI and consolidate their resources and expertise to establish an independent Free Zone Authority (FZA). Consequently, the structure of SRTIP will undergo changes to reflect the form and function of the new FZA.

This development will unlock the immense potential of Sharjah’s technology and innovation sector, while solidifying the UAE’s position as a global destination for business and entrepreneurial endeavors.
