South Korean tech giant, LG Electronics, has concluded its LG Showcase MEA 2024 event, held over a two-day period at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers Hotel in Abu Dhabi, attracting over 500 attendees eager to experience the brand’s latest innovations.
Themed “Reinventing Together,” the event echoed LG’s dedication to meeting its customers’ evolving needs. The LG Showcase MEA 2024 built on the success of its iteration in 2023, providing a platform for attendees to immerse themselves in LG’s customer-focused inventions.
CEO of LG MEA Region, Mr. Il Hwan Lee, expressed delight at the event’s success, noting the positive reception to the showcased innovations. “We saw a huge success when we returned the LG Showcase MEA event last year and we are elated to see the same success in this year’s event as well. It is a great pleasure to showcase our latest innovations and give our guests the chance to experience them all firsthand. We are happy to see the love and appreciation received for each product and look forward to bringing more to this region overall.” He stated.
He further noted the event as a “platform that showcases not just our products, but also reiterates our commitment to our customers. This event also serves as a platform for networking with our business partners and fostering relationships, another vital element of our work.”
The event featured multiple exhibition zones showcasing LG Electronics’ products in various use-case scenarios. Highlights included the 97-inch LG SIGNATURE WIRELESS OLED M, boasting Zero Connect technology for wireless transfer of 4K video and audio, and the StanbyME Go, a portable 27-inch FHD smart screen designed for outdoor use.
Attendees also explored LG’s advancements in processors and software, including the new α (Alpha) 11 processor for flagship TVs, enhancing user viewing experience with powerful AI features, and the latest WebOS with revamped features for expanded TV brands and 3,500 content partners, and an active user growth increase in the MEA region by 20 times.
The event’s audio-visual zone showcased LG’s XBOOM speakers, including the powerful XBOOM XL9T and the dynamic pixel lighting effects of the LG XBOOM XL5S. Additionally, the highly anticipated LG CineBeam Q, a compact 4K portable projector, garnered significant attention.
In the IT zone, LG unveiled its latest lineup of UltraGear OLED gaming monitors and the innovative LG MyView Smart Monitor. The exhibition also featured the LG MAGNIT Micro LED display and OLED transparent screens for retail applications.
Home appliance solutions were also displayed. Highlights included the MoodUP™ refrigerator offering customisable design options, and the LG built-in-kitchen package for a comprehensive kitchen experience. LG’s residential air conditioning units, and WashTower™ Compact laundry solution were also showcased.
LG Electronics also installed Life Style zones, with an appropriate range of products. This included the ThinQ powered home setup, an elegant café setup as well as a camping setup.
