The deployment of this advanced hardware is expected to deliver several environmental benefits, including up to 18% energy savings and reduced weight compared to previous generations of 5G radios

This initiative aligns with Zain Bahrain’s commitment to building a sustainable and environmentally friendly telecom network in the country. The new 5G hardware, known for being the lightest and smallest Massive MIMO radio in the industry, is also recognized as the most energy-efficient radio of its kind deployed in the region. Its design aims to accelerate the deployment of 5G mid-band spectrum, enhancing capacity, coverage and connectivity speeds.
