School Hack, an edtech platform based in the UAE, has reached a significant milestone of one million users. Launched in February 2023 by Muhammed Khalid, the platform has experienced rapid growth, rivaling popular apps like Instagram and TikTok. It holds the distinction of being the fastest-growing app from the Gulf region and currently processes an impressive volume of words through OpenAI’s Chat GPT, exceeding any other app worldwide at 150 million words per day.
The School Hack platform comprises two main products: the student-focused School Hack app, available on both Apple and Android and the SHP 2.0 platform designed for educators and students. SHP 2.0 features an interactive AI portal that aids schools in regulating and overseeing AI usage, ensuring students fully and responsibly harness its potential. The platform also prepares students for the future of work in an AI-driven era while providing teachers with complete visibility into students’ AI usage to prevent cheating and plagiarism.
