In a significant development for Egypt’s tech sector, Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) has teamed up with Huawei to introduce AI-powered cloud services in the country for the first time.
The strategic partnership was formalized with an agreement signed in Shenzhen, China, with the goal of enhancing TMG’s Noor City project through Huawei’s advanced cloud technologies.
The collaboration focuses on developing cloud data centers and AI solutions to support smart city development. Through “NOOR Cloud,” TMG plans to offer innovative cloud services tailored to the needs of urban communities.
Mohamed Hisham Talaat Moustafa, TMG’s Chief Recurring Income Officer, expressed excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are thrilled to lead the market by embracing cloud technology with Huawei’s expertise.”
This initiative will provide scalable infrastructure, real-time data analytics, and seamless connectivity, essential for transforming urban living. Mohamed Salah, Vice President of Intelligent Cities at TMG, emphasized the broader impact, stating, “Our collaboration with Huawei is not just about technology—it’s about reimagining urban living for our communities.”

Hank Chen, Vice President of Huawei’s Government Public Services Digitalization Business, highlighted the importance of cloud technology for smart cities, calling it a “game-changer” that opens new opportunities for urban growth in the digital era. Felix Xu, CEO of Huawei Egypt Enterprise Business Group, added that the partnership aligns with TMG’s vision to create sustainable and technologically advanced smart cities.
This collaboration builds on the ongoing relationship between TMG and Huawei, aiming to redefine urban development standards and accelerate digital innovation in Egypt.
