The 3rd Digital Transformation Jordan Conference, which aimed to explore the use of advanced next-gen technology and global trends for the country’s future digital transformation, was held on March 6 and 7 at The Ritz Carlton Hotel & Residences in Amman, Jordan. The event was endorsed by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, bringing together senior government decision makers, industry leaders, leading international technology consultants and digital experts to share their experience and knowledge to help drive digital transformation forward.
Over 30 experts from more than ten countries, several ministries, and industries brainstormed on new ideas and discussed the roadmap for the future of digital transformation of the country to over 300 attendees and over 150 decision-makers at the conference. In-depth discussions at the conference focused on the integration of advanced and emerging technologies in Jordan using artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, blockchain and the key role of cybersecurity in ensuring successful digitalization in the country. The conference also highlighted the importance of machine learning and automation adoption in digital services.

Ahmad Al Hanandeh, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, stated that “We are keen to modernize IT projects in Jordan and address e-government projects across governmental agencies to keep pace with the progress of digital transformation innovations that improve the delivery of government services and enhances the efficiency of government performance. We also hope to strengthen the country’s digital transformation by encouraging more local IT talent to be part of the digitization process. Conferences like the Digital Transformation Jordan are ideal to discuss opportunities for cooperation with experts to enhance the nation’s digital transformation ecosystem”.
