Huawei Egypt has partnered with El Sewedy Electric for Trading and Distribution, a subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric, to increase cooperation in clean and renewable energy, according to a press release on March 26th. The companies will work together to enhance the use of smart photovoltaic solutions provided by FusionSolar that combine electronic and digital energy technologies to support electric cars and buses in the Egyptian market.

Joey Ding, CEO of Huawei Technologies Egypt’s Digital Power Business, stated that the company fully supports the Egyptian government’s efforts to expand the use of green energy and achieve its sustainable energy strategy for 2035. The Huawei Digital Energy business unit concentrates on five key areas, including smart photovoltaic energy, power plant technology, mPower for electric vehicles, data center infrastructure and integrated energy solutions.
This new partnership will likely bolster Huawei’s presence in Egypt’s growing renewable energy market while also contributing to the country’s green energy goals.
