Mastercard has unveiled a redesigned Mastercard Experience Centre in Dubai, reaffirming its investment in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as it celebrates 40 years of operations in the country. Located at the company’s regional headquarters in Dubai Internet City, the centre serves as a flagship customer engagement hub for 81 markets across Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EEMEA).
The upgraded facility offers customers, regulators, industry stakeholders and student delegations an enhanced visitor experience through immersive demonstrations, redesigned collaboration spaces and digital installations showcasing Mastercard’s work. It is designed to help partners understand how the company supports the movement of value across the digital economy and explore technologies that can drive business growth and expand opportunities.

The Mastercard Experience Centre is organised into three interconnected zones: Discovery, Experience and Engagement. Discovery provides a flexible environment for customer discussions, executive briefings and extended working sessions.
The Experience zone features immersive demonstrations of Mastercard technologies, enabling customers to explore potential applications and make informed business decisions. Meanwhile, the Engagement zone includes dedicated collaboration rooms where participants can develop ideas through structured workshops and work with Mastercard product teams to explore solutions.
“Over the past four decades, Mastercard has grown alongside the UAE, a country defined by ambition, partnership and a determination to keep moving forward. The Mastercard Experience Centre reflects that same spirit, bringing our technology closer to the people shaping the future of commerce,” said Mark Elliott, division president for East Arabia at Mastercard. “By creating a space for collaboration, where ideas can be explored and solutions developed together, we can help turn new ideas into practical applications that support the UAE’s digital economy and create opportunities across the wider region.”
The centre serves a broad range of stakeholders, including issuing banks, merchants, fintech companies, early-stage founders and government institutions. It hosts customer immersion sessions, executive briefings, regional events and Mastercard Academy programmes, while providing a setting for commercial discussions and the development of new payment solutions.
Visitors can also explore artificial intelligence applications and learn about research, insights and initiatives from Mastercard’s global Centre for AI and Advanced Technology in Dubai. The centre connects these developments with potential business opportunities and challenges across the region.
Engagement with universities and students is another part of the centre’s activities. Mastercard uses the facility to support knowledge sharing and selected academic programmes, including capstone research projects, with student internships planned to begin in 2027.
Since opening in 2018, the Mastercard Experience Centre has hosted significant milestones in the company’s efforts to support the digital economy, including strategic partnership agreements and the launch of initiatives aimed at advancing digital transformation.
