Airtel Kenya’s mobile money subsidiary has launched Bizna Wallet, a dedicated business wallet designed to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) manage their finances more efficiently.
The new solution allows entrepreneurs to keep business and personal funds separate while still operating through a single Airtel Money account. The wallet is linked to an existing Airtel Money account and provides a clear platform for handling business transactions.
Kenyan customers can register for the service using the USSD code *334# or via the My Airtel App. Once activated, users can begin receiving payments while maintaining a distinct separation between personal and business finances.
Speaking at the launch, Airtel Money Kenya Acting Managing Director Michael Bonke encouraged entrepreneurs to adopt the service. He noted that transactions of up to 250,000 Kenyan shillings (approximately US$1,934) would not attract any transaction charges.
In a parallel move, Airtel Money has also upgraded its Rudishiwa cashback offering. Customers can now earn 50% cashback on qualifying transactions of KES 101 (about US$0.78) or more. The cashback applies to a range of services, including bill payments, bank transfers, transfers to other mobile money networks and transfers to bank accounts.

Airtel Money said the introduction of Bizna Wallet and the enhanced Rudishiwa cashback form part of its broader strategy to deepen financial inclusion in Kenya. The company aims to equip businesses with digital tools that simplify financial management, improve operational efficiency and support growth.
By offering MSMEs more secure, convenient and rewarding financial services, Airtel Money seeks to help these enterprises play a greater role in Kenya’s rapidly evolving digital economy.
