G42, a UAE-based technology company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Microsoft to collaborate on developing public sector and industry-focused solutions. The partnership aims to leverage Microsoft’s partner ecosystem and cloud capabilities to address the needs of citizens and customers in the UAE. The joint business development and marketing opportunities will cover areas such as healthcare, energy, public sector digital transformation, financial services, climate action and more.

Under the agreement, G42 Cloud will work closely with Microsoft to develop and deploy joint solutions that meet regulatory requirements for compliance and security. Microsoft’s expertise in resiliency, agility and security, combined with G42’s capabilities and vision, will create a unique value proposition for customers.

Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, said the partnership will offer customised cloud solutions that provide additional choice and flexibility to organisations, especially in the public sector. Meanwhile, Kiril Evimov, G42’s Group CTO and Chairman of G42 Cloud, said the partnership will spur innovation and deliver agility for the technical community in the UAE and the region.
