The Broadband India Forum and the Wireless Broadband Alliance have signed an MoU at an event focused on “Wi-Fi and Delicensing of 6GHz – The Driving Force of Broadband for All”. The collaboration aims to expand the NextGen Wireless Ecosystem and highlight the importance of the internationally harmonised unlicensed 6Ghz spectrum band in solving the Digital Divide.

The event brought together policymakers, industry executives, subject matter experts and other stakeholders to explore new Wi-Fi technologies that operate only in the delicensed 6Ghz radio band that can complement 5G and bridge the connection gap while stimulating innovations and applications and service development.
