Vertiv , a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, has named Mike Giresi as its new global Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Giresi will spearhead initiatives in AI adoption, cybersecurity, product security, and digital-enabled productivity to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Vertiv CEO Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi emphasized the importance of Giresi’s role, stating, “Strong digital and IT vision and execution are central to our strategy to lead the industry and deliver exceptional value to our customers. Mike’s expertise and focus will strengthen our competitive edge in a rapidly evolving AI and digital landscape.”

Giresi, who brings over 30 years of IT experience, including more than 20 years in leadership roles, expressed enthusiasm for his new position. “I’m excited to join Vertiv and advance its digital strategy, driving value through improved customer experience, product development, and manufacturing capabilities. Our goal is to accelerate AI and digitization for hyperscale, enterprise, and edge customers,” he said.
Most recently, Giresi served as chief digital officer at Molex, a consumer electronics company. His extensive career also includes roles as chief digital & technology officer at Aramark, CIO at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., CIO at Tory Burch, CIO at Direct Brands (Columbia House & Doubleday), and CIO, SVP IT at Godiva Chocolatier. Giresi holds an EMBA from Saint Joseph’s University – Erivan K. Haub School of Business and a BA in English and Information Systems from Seton Hall University.
