Vertiv, a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, has acquired Waylay NV, a generative AI software platform, for an undisclosed amount.
The strategic move aims to enhance Vertiv’s ability to deliver intelligent, data-driven solutions, enabling customers to maximize uptime, optimize energy usage, and strengthen operational intelligence across critical infrastructure.
The acquisition integrates Waylay’s advanced AI technology, which specializes in real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance, into Vertiv’s portfolio. This will enable Vertiv to provide proactive, optimized solutions for some of the world’s most demanding environments, ranging from data centers to edge computing facilities.

This acquisition follows Vertiv’s recent $200 million purchase of Great Lakes Data Racks & Cabinets, which strengthened its position in high-density, AI-ready integrated infrastructure solutions across enterprise, edge, colocation, and hyperscale markets.
The addition of Waylay NV further solidifies Vertiv’s commitment to leading the industry in AI-driven, sustainable infrastructure solutions, positioning the company to meet the growing demands of digital transformation.
