Kike Oniwinde is the founder of BYP network, a platform that empowers Black professionals to connect with each other globally for networking purposes and for job opportunities.
BYP was founded in 2016 and tagged as ‘LinkedIn for Black professionals’. With over 150,000 members and over 1000 corporate clients including Facebook, DAZN and Farfetch.
Kike came to the realization that ‘tech is the future’ when she worked for two years in Business Development at a fast-growing financial technology company.
In her words;
‘Being a woman in tech means breaking barriers so that those who come after me won’t have to struggle the same way. It means showing the world my ability and believing in myself wholeheartedly.’
A Sky Technology Scholar 2018 and an ex-Great Britain javelin thrower, Kike Oniwinde is a skilled and resourceful leader in tech.
Following her experiences of being a minority in banking, she established the BYP network, the purpose being to change the Black narrative as inequality and discrimination nominates the environment.
Kiki she was included in a list of young leaders within technology in Europe, F-Factor Winner and New Entrepreneurs Foundation Winner and has also won over 20 entrepreneurship awards.
She is on the board of the London Chambers of Commerce Black Business Association and a London Tech Ambassador.
The young C.E.O grew up in East London and has a BSc (Hons) Economics degree from the University of Nottingham and a MSc Management degree from the University of Florida.
