Healthcare technology startup TachyHealth has launched a new AI language model for its AiCode solution, which has been trained on the Saudi billing system published by the Council of Health Insurance (CHI). The new model is designed to significantly reduce the margin of error in medical coding and ensure that providers and payers in the Kingdom receive the correct reimbursement for their services, thus minimising the risk of financial losses.

TachyHealth’s AiCode model is based on machine learning and enables users to create natural language prompts before assigning the appropriate International Classification of Diseases (ICD10-AM) codes and procedures codes (Nphies) in seconds. The conversational approach reduces the time and effort required by medical coders, enabling them to focus on more critical tasks that directly impact the quality of patient care.
Moreover, AiCode allows providers and payers to better understand patients’ medical histories, track treatment progress and make well-informed decisions about their care plans. By staying up-to-date with the most recent codes, the solution helps healthcare providers and insurance companies maintain the highest standards of medical billing, avoiding potential issues.
