The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has partnered with Microsoft to activate OpenAI GPT technology in the Azure Qatar Cloud. The primary objective of this move is to offer government entities access to the world’s most advanced AI models and help them innovate and develop better applications.
The integration of OpenAI GPT is a part of MCIT’s initiative to provide advanced technology to government organizations and aid them in their digital transformation journey. To align with the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy, the Qatar e-Government Portal “Hukoomi” will be among the first portals in the region to incorporate OpenAI GPT capabilities via Azure Qatar. The introduction of this technology is expected to improve user experience, deliver unheard-of levels of efficiency and speed, and improve the overall quality and performance of the portal.
