HIELDNXT, a Qatar-based start-up, has won the MENA InsurTech Competition – Qatar Edition. The competition was organized by the MENA Insurtech Association, which held the Insurtech Ghabga Night at the Microsoft office in Lusail, Qatar. The event aimed to select the top five startups from 11 remarkable participants who will join the MENA Insurtech Summit on May 20, 21 and 22, 2023.
Christudas Dai, the founder and director of SHIELDNXT, expressed pride in the company’s victory and hopes that such competitions will bring more awareness to the market and startups looking to disrupt the traditional insurance industry.

The MENA InsurTech Competition was supported by several notable organizations, including Qatar Insurance Group QIC Digital Venture Partners, Microsoft, Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority, Flat6Labs, Qatar Development Bank and Deloitte.
