Orange Group has announced key changes to its executive leadership, effective this summer, as part of a strategic realignment within its global operations.
Jérôme Hénique, currently Executive Vice President and CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa (OMEA), has been appointed Executive Vice President and CEO of Orange France, effective June 1, 2025. He will continue to serve on the Group Executive Committee and report directly to Christel Heydemann, CEO of the Orange Group. Additionally, Hénique will join the Board of Directors of Orange MEA on the same date.
He replaces Jean-François Fallacher, who is stepping down to pursue new responsibilities outside the Group. Fallacher has been appointed CEO of Eutelsat Group.
To fill the leadership vacuum at Orange MEA, Yasser Shaker, the current CEO of Orange Egypt, will take over as Executive Vice President and CEO of Orange MEA, effective July 1, 2025. His appointment was made in agreement with the Board of Directors of Orange MEA. Like Hénique, Shaker will join the Group Executive Committee and report to Heydemann.

Reacting to the changes, Heydemann expressed gratitude for Fallacher’s years of service:
“I would like to thank Jean-François Fallacher for his unwavering commitment throughout his career at Orange. On behalf of all the teams, I warmly thank him and wish him success in his new position.”
Heydemann also expressed confidence in the new appointees:
“I have complete confidence in Jérôme Hénique — who knows the Group perfectly and has successfully developed the Africa-Middle East region — to lead and grow Orange France’s activities. I am also delighted with the appointment of Yasser Shaker as CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa. His extensive experience and deep knowledge of the region will be essential for continuing our growth momentum.”
