Tech focused magazine, TechBerg, has unveiled Olatomiwa Williams, the Country Manager of Microsoft – Nigeria & Ghana, as its Tech personality of the week.
An award-winning personality with over 20 years’ experience in Information Technology solution sales, consulting, channel and people management. Olatomiwa is currently the country manager of Microsoft in Nigeria & Ghana.
She joined Microsoft in 2010 and has held several positions such as Partner Technology Manager, Dynamics Partner Sales Executive and Account Technology Strategist.
Prior to her appointment as the country manager, she was the Director of Microsoft Cloud and Digital transformation Solutions Middle East and Africa (MEA) Multi Country Cluster (MCC) spanning over sixty-seven countries in Africa and part of Middle East where she led organization of talented digital transformation and Cloud Solutions Specialist and to help enterprise customers achieve their digital transformation objective leveraging Microsoft Advanced Cloud solutions.
She has held several roles in IT companies, and has built strong teams in helping organizations to achieve their business objectives by leveraging on technology. She was able to develop a very good knowledge of emerging markets business landscape.
Considering her passion for seeing women successful in the IT space, the country manager set up an initiative which focused on the female gender in her region as a way to encourage them have interest in IT and Engineering.
Olatomiwa Williams has Master’s in Business Administration from University of Liverpool and graduated from the Federal Polytechnic Offa where she studied of Computer Science.
