NTT Data, a global leader in digital transformation, and French AI innovator Mistral AI have announced a strategic partnership to provide secure, sustainable, and enterprise-grade private AI solutions tailored for regulated sectors, including financial services, insurance, defense, and the public sector.
The collaboration merges NTT Data’s extensive AI service expertise and global delivery capabilities with Mistral AI’s cutting-edge open-weight generative AI models, renowned for their efficiency and adaptability.
The partnership focuses on three core objectives: co-developing secure and sustainable private AI solutions, enhancing IT infrastructure and customer experiences through agentic AI in regions like Europe and Asia Pacific, and expanding joint market presence in countries such as France, Luxembourg, Spain, Singapore, and Australia.
To support this, NTT Data will establish a dedicated Mistral AI Centre of Excellence, while Mistral AI will offer a technical enablement and certification program for NTT Data’s teams to ensure seamless enterprise deployment.

Early implementations are already underway. Global IP services firm Dennemeyer has tapped the partnership to develop an AI-powered tool for advanced patent search and analysis.
Additionally, NTT Data Luxembourg and Mistral AI are co-developing a sovereign AI platform for financial clients. “This partnership is a landmark opportunity to accelerate AI adoption in financial and insurance markets,” said Olivier Posty, head of France and Luxembourg at NTT Data.
