The London-based startup 11x.ai has recently announced to the general public its launch, along with a $2 million pre-seed funding round led by Project A Ventures. The company aims to develop and facilitate the creation of AI workers that can perform tasks in areas such as sales development, talent acquisition, and human resources.
In the company statement, the startup’s first digital worker is Alice, a sales director representative (SDR). 11x.ai will soon introduce a no-code platform where companies and developers can build their own digital workforce to automate routine tasks. For example, in sales, these tasks may include initial outreach and prospecting.
According to the Co-founded/ CEO, Hasan Sukkar, 11x.ai has built its proprietary large language model technology, incorporating a highly specific prompt framework using ChatGPT and GPT-4.
Secondly, George Bradshaw, the head of operations at 11x.ai, stated that the company’s goal is to free people from mundane, repetitive tasks, allowing them to focus on higher-value activities. The aim is to automate every mundane task performed by office workers. The platform, called Platform X, will cater to companies that want to build a digital worker specific to their needs, as well as to developers who can create and sell more generic digital workers on the platform.
The company plans to create a marketplace where developers can generate income from building, sharing, and deploying digital workers. Platform X is expected to go live within the next two months. 11x.ai is actively recruiting and plans to hire 10 new developers soon.
Alice, the AI SDR, has access to a database of over five million contacts, and she can personalize multi-channel campaigns across platforms like LinkedIn and email. Bradshaw highlighted that extensive measures are in place to ensure that emails are closely linked to the provided information. The company places strong emphasis on GDPR compliance and only uses publicly retrievable work emails.
According to Bradshaw, sales representatives typically spend 70% of their time prospecting and only 10% engaging with customers. However, Alice aims to reverse this ratio.
Conclusively, the 11x.ai’s plans involve creating a significant impact on the future of work by revolutionizing the automation of various tasks. The company is focused on providing valuable solutions to its customers and is witnessing substantial growth and customer adoption, the statement read.
