IBM has announced a comprehensive solution called Quantum Safe technology during its ongoing Think 2023 conference. This end-to-end solution aims to prepare organizations for the adoption of quantum-safe cryptography. Quantum-safe cryptography involves using algorithms that are resistant to attacks from both classical and quantum computers.
Under the Quantum Safe technology umbrella, IBM offers three key capabilities. The first is the Quantum Safe Explorer, which helps organizations identify cryptographic assets, dependencies and vulnerabilities. It aggregates all potential risks into a centralized location for easier management. The second capability is the Quantum Safe Advisor, which enables the creation of a cryptographic inventory to prioritize risks effectively. Lastly, the Quantum Safe Remediator allows organizations to test quantum-safe remediation patterns and deploy solutions accordingly.
