Géant has launched a gift card that can be used in all its supermarkets and hypermarkets. Available in both physical and digital formats, the cards can be reloaded by the cardholder and are valid for 12 months. Shoppers can purchase both types of cards, with a minimum value of AED 50, in-store, while digital cards can also be bought via Géant’s gift card portal, geantuae.ogloba.com. The portal offers a range of personalisation options, including images and messages and allows users to keep track of their balance and purchase additional cards.

Marc Laurent, President, Retail – Everyday Goods at GMG, said the card was designed to cater to omnichannel shoppers who expect convenience and value. He added that the initiative was an exciting development for the company as it expands its footprint and commits to customers. The card would give consumers another reason to visit the stores and purchase a mix of products, including groceries, fresh produce, meats, global foods, day-to-day essentials and white goods, Laurent said.
