Some say leaders are born, others argue that leaders are made. Both of these arguments have merit, because some are born to inherit leadership positions, while others toil to get there. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
In a 30-year career that has not always been rosy, Peter Ndegwa says he drew his inspiration to keep moving forward from his early upbringing, the influence of his teachers, and the guidance of Dr. Geoffrey Griffin, the late founder of Starehe Boys Centre. These foundational experiences have shaped his strong value set and leadership style.
