Amazon Web Services has announced the formation of the Generative AI Partner Innovation Alliance, a strategic initiative designed to broaden the reach and impact of the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center (GenAIIC).
The alliance aims to empower customers worldwide with the resources needed to develop and deploy generative AI solutions successfully.
Launched in June 2023, GenAIIC connects AWS clients with a team of AI/ML scientists and strategic experts to facilitate the development of generative AI applications. The center has already helped thousands of organizations—including DoorDash, Nasdaq, and the PGA TOUR—bring generative AI projects to fruition. Currently, over half of the proof-of-concept solutions crafted in the GenAIIC are now actively utilized by clients.
AWS will collaborate with a global network of systems integrators and consulting firms through the new Generative AI Partner Innovation Alliance, allowing broader access to industry-specific and regionally tailored expertise in generative AI.
The alliance will initially comprise nine partner organizations, including Booz Allen Hamilton, Crayon, Escala24x7, Megazone Cloud, NCS Group, Quantiphi, Caylent, Deloitte, and Rackspace Technology. These partnerships are expected to extend GenAIIC’s support network, providing resources for more customers to develop and implement generative AI proofs-of-concept and scalable solutions.
Sri Elaprolu, Global Head of the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, emphasized the customer-centered approach driving GenAIIC’s success. “Our approach at GenAIIC focuses on helping customers define and refine AI use cases that deliver tangible business results. We build end-to-end solutions and tailor foundation models as needed, emphasizing security and scalability.
This strategy has been essential for driving successful outcomes,” Elaprolu said. “With our expanded network of partners, we can now assist more customers in harnessing generative AI for innovation, productivity, and competitive advantage.”
The alliance promises to enhance government services through AI in the public sector. Alison Smith, Director of Generative AI at Booz Allen Hamilton, highlighted the public sector’s potential in leveraging AI to meet mission-critical needs.
“By combining Booz Allen’s public sector expertise with AWS’s Generative AI Innovation Center resources, we can address adoption challenges and drive impactful, secure, ethical, and compliant AI solutions,” Smith said.
Through the Generative AI Partner Innovation Alliance, AWS aims to expand GenAIIC’s global impact, offering more organizations the expertise to integrate generative AI into their operations effectively.
