Ghana’s Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, unveiled a 10-15% increase in data bundle values across all mobile networks, effective July 1, 2025, to address persistent concerns over pricing and service quality in the telecommunications sector. MTN Uganda is seeking input from stakeholders on a plan to structurally separate its mobile money service, MoMo, from its core telecoms business.
