Across Africa, telecommunications and data center companies are marking Customer Service Week 2025 with a unified focus on delivering exceptional service and fostering stronger connections with their customers.
Under the global theme “Mission Possible,” industry leaders are emphasizing innovation, trust, and customer-centric strategies to drive digital transformation.
Airtel Africa, led by CEO Sunil Taldar, reaffirmed its dedication to fast, affordable, and reliable services. Taldar emphasized the company’s mission to bridge the digital divide and transform lives through customer-focused initiatives.

Similarly, MTN Ghana’s CEO, Stephen Blewett, highlighted the importance of listening to customers, from social media feedback to in-store interactions, to enhance experiences and improve network quality. “We’re committed to doing better for you,” Blewett pledged, underscoring investments in data products and digital offerings.

Telecel Ghana, under CEO Ing. Patricia Obo-Nai, launched CARE Month, promising to deliver exceptional services while offering incentives to customers throughout October. Obo-Nai emphasized that customer feedback shapes innovation, ensuring connectivity that empowers businesses. Meanwhile, MTN Nigeria and Orange Sierra Leone celebrated their teams’ dedication, with Orange reinforcing its brand promise of being “always present” for customers.

Data center providers also joined the celebration. OpenAccess Data Centres (OADC), led by Group Chief Commercial Officer James Wekesa, praised its teams for delivering exceptional service under the “Mission: Possible” theme. Africa Data Centres (ADC) highlighted its commitment to keeping Africa’s digital infrastructure robust, while PAIX Data Centres thanked customers for their loyalty, vowing to improve daily.
T2mobile NG, reflecting on its Customer Forum at the Ibom Ignite Conference 2025, committed to rebuilding trust through intentional listening and actionable insights. WIOCC Group and Imbil Telecom Solution celebrated their teams’ cultural diversity and dedication, while Cloudware Africa and TESPOK emphasized customer growth and innovation in Kenya’s ICT ecosystem.
